Soooo, yes, this is such a fascinating and captivating story. Breathtaking ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼, no doubt about it!!! But I was a little disappointed with that ending. If it’s truly the ending. I mean, so many questions to be answered. What happened to Maxi’s father? Did she ended up getting the Duchy despite not wanting it at some point? Did Riftan did something else to make him pay for what he did to Maxi? Did they ever had kids? How special was Maxi? Because she did created the Golem rune and helped win the war. Did something else happened in the Seven Kingdoms even if Riftan won the tournament? I mean, the story has so many details and is so well constructed. But I feel that now days every time a good story is about to end, it feels rushed and the ending is either disappointing or leaves you with an empty feeling. And then after everything between the War and dealing with the Dragon stuff and the tournament we barely get to have some good romantic time between Maxi and Riftan. It would’ve been great also to have read about their trip back to Anatol and the reactions of everybody upon their return. I dont know, maybe I’m in the worng here or maybe someone might understand what I mean. I just think that a hot, good romance novel should have a mind blowing and satisfying ending that makes you feel that everything has been covered, and not with an uncomfortable feeling of: “Wait…that’s it!?” I really hope that there can be another extra chapter where maybe we can read at least about them with kids or something a little extra.
