Going by webnovel’s rating system i guess this is 4 star, personally id give it closer to 2.5-3. Its not a bad fic, but unfortunately its just a canon rehash with a new character in the mix that takes Scott’s place. If thats your thing youll like it, but its not mine. Basically nothing changes from canon except for a few conversations, which then get “fixed” later so the plot still goes the exact same way. Like in S1 instead of Derrick getting shot, Astrid does, but to make it so Jackson still gets wolfsbane potion on him Derrick Astrid goes to school anyways, Derrick comes too, confronts jackson over nothing, and cuts him with his claws which have her blood in order to keep that the same. Again, its not horribly unbelievable, but it feels like the author is constantly stopping any and all creative freedom they have in order to copy canon almost exactly (with the same dialogue).
