My great despair was whether I should have it from a second or first perspective. I decided to use ´´you´´ because the reader is the main character. I almost used `` He``. "He walked out of the ship and pulled out a blaster" thats one way to write, and the other one is "You walked out of the ship and pulled a blaster." But I'll make an update later. To go from 2nd perspective. But thanks for the options, I need feed-back.

a lot of the time you use the word you when you're referring to yourself from a narrative perspective. which you shouldn't be using the word you because as you're talking directly to the audience. as it's extremely awkward and it makes you look extremely bad at English. it would have been okay if you had used the word He or I putting it in either first or third person perspective. personally I think it would have been better if you went with first person perspective because narratively it seems to fit better. as honestly it's infuriating when you use the word you. when you're referring to yourself.Second person is a point of view (how a story is told) where the narrator tells the story to another character using the word 'you. ' The author could be talking to the audience, which we could tell by the use of 'you,' 'you're,' and 'your.
wattpad has a lot of storys where they use (Y/N) (short for your name) instead of actually naming their mc's. I still think it is awkward to read and i feel more distanced then actually included in these storys. some people seem to like it.
