You made Shin reborn as Yahiko, he has a little knowledge of what Naruto is and only knew that Naruto is the protagonist and then you wrote in your synopsis "Will history be changed by him?" foreshadowing that Naruto plot won't be the same as the canon but what's the purpose of you making his parents killed by iwagakure? forcing the plot to make him feel pain?, isn't that the same in canon where Yahiko and Nagato believes that world shall know pain so that they will not go to war anymore. All i see is just a Yahiko like in the canon not Shin reborn as Yahiko. Same story, same experiences and same character. This is just same as Naruto but with Yahiko as the MC.

Thanks for the feedback. I plan to have the major canon divergence happen later on in the story most likely during the 3rd shinobi world war. I could technically do a time skip to right to the part where I want canon divergence to happen but that would be too rushed for my liking.(Which was what I did before the rewrite and it caused some issues). I would like to take time to develop some parts of the story between MC, Konan, Nagato, and Jiraiya during their time training together as well as the relationship and romance. This was the reason I did a rewrite from the beginning. But I suppose some people might not like the way it was done and started off and I respect that opinion.
yes, I'm not talking specifically about the plot divergence, but how Shin is almost the same as Yahiko. That's my point, he wasn't transmigrated into Yahiko's body but he was reborn as Yahiko, big difference, he didn't have the memories of Yahiko, he is still Shin but in just different body. Your idea is really an interesting one because every Naruto fanfic where the MC isn't reborn or transmigrated in Konoha or as a konoha ninja is always refreshing, but the foundation of your idea for plot divergence is not great for me, since he's Shin in Yahiko's body, you can have his life different from canon Yahiko and still make him meet Konan and Nagato in really different ways. Imagine if you make Shin dream is just to protect his loved ones from the war and it also align with Nagato's dream and Konan innocence, she still a child and isn't going to be vengeful since Yahiko (Shin) will not going to die.

Also i hope you keep the novel going on, because such naruto fanfic like yours is refreshing, i maybe didn't like the way it started off but I'm still going to read it and add this to my library. First of all, I'm not talking about his sentiments about his new family, i was talking how forced the plot was and did you even read the prologue. He died when he was 15 years old, still a kid, he didn't even forget the "family" he had when he was still Shin, even though he didn't experience a complete family and his father left him with debts still he loved his family.
