because it's not realistic and mostly just fantasy women aren't fond of sharing their husband with other women but in these novels the author's make it seem like the women see no problem with it would you be okay with letting your gf/wife being with many boys ?

Yes it can be good if written properly but the problem is that writer here seems to get lost in the harem and just dont focus on the plot anymore and it become just a slice of life of how he please the women around him and how he confort them when they are jealous of one another, đ I'm just sick of it.

I don't care if its harem as long as its written well, but in a fan-fic the chances are about 1 in 20 it is actually well written. I dislike it, generally, because a novel can quickly become a 'catch and forget' harem where older members are barely or never mentioned, and this ends up creating cardboard characters with virtually no personality excluding a few surface level traits. Many can also tend to leave the main plot to 'new bad guy, beat bad guy get girl, repeat', which can lead to tedious stories that don't pose any interesting questions or explore interesting ideas. This is why I personally don't like harem, in general, in most stories
