This book ... well, I believe you will either like it or not. The balance for me is tilted towards the "no", unfortunately. Rhe storyline has a lot of potential but the execution is slightly ... meh. There are many loopholes and rather bland way of handling things. The premise was good then sigh. ML is the typical doting CEO guy that is refreshingly straightforward but at the same time, stupidly overprotective by getting angry easily over injustices to FL and not letting her know. FL is typically brilliant and acted dumb to survive, yet not bright enough to scheme back against family or realise husband loves her. Writer drops stuff, doesn't build on it properly and settles things as is. Most actions seems inexplicable to me (like showing how the FL was abused and treated eg wearing leash, eating on her knees - but the Internet? instead of getting bad talks about the abuse, the ML's family gets labeled stupid for marrying a dimwit). Like, seriously?? Read until Ch.80 but still not feeling it.

I agree. I finished it but it was all over the place and everything seemed rushed. Also, we have no real way of knowing how much time has passed and that is extremely annoying. Was it a day, a week, a month? Rather important when the woman is pregnant 🙄 I would not recommend.T There are way better stories out there than this one 😕 Author has potential but this was 'meh' at most.

Whoanthis sounds similar to another novel that I wanted to read but was never able to bc it wasn‘t picked up 😭 and since that novel cant be found anymore I want to give this nivel a try since it’s similar 🥲 Any spoilers? How did the ml make his plan to get mc? Why was the mc only able to tell when the child was born that it was ml to begin with? Werent there any clues? Raw??

I cant seem to see the logic why people cast their vote in this novel. the plot seems illogical (doesnt make sense at all!!), the characters are not likable (there are a lot of plot holes), world background is not explained well (they are talking about palanquin in the first chapter that's why i thought that the story is historical, not until i read that the ml is a ceo of a corp that i realized that the story is in modern time), very SLOW PACED that the first 40 chapters doesn't had much scenarios 🤷‍♀️

The ending is depressing. The story is unfinished. i spent lots of money and time but alas depressed in the end as its not the ending that i wanted. the story was INCOMPLETE. It feels like im wasting a lot of my time on this book. How can you have an imcomplete book in the complete category. Do think of us the readers. nobody likes to be hanging up half way😠

My opinion after reading this story is mediocre. the story line is too fast, the beginning should be explained to make it more memorable, but this goes straight to the heart of the story. I don't like stories like this, the conflict is less interesting.
