== first impressions as of 40 chapters == A military doctor wakes up to the body of Lu Jiao, fat woman who's married to a now crippled scholar of the Xie family and mother to four sons. She realizes that she's transmigrated into a novel character who mistreats her sons. It turns out the four sons and her husband, Xie Yunjiao, turns to be the villains of the story. They will come to kill Lu Jiao and to prevent her death, she decides to treat them well. However, before she can leave her husband and four kids, she promises to cure Xie Yunjiao and use the time to make them hate her less (so they won't kill her in the future) and create good relations with the villagers to benefit her family in the long run. Also, because she isn't the real Lu Jiao, she has no motive to treat them badly. Everyone in the village notices Lu Jiao acts different now, and Xie Yunjiao comes to conclusion that she isn't the real Lu Jiao. And now that Lu Jiao isn't abusing her sons, but showering them with food, the kids are slowly opening up to her. This one actually surprised me at how easy it was to dive into the story. The storytelling is slow and steady but it makes sense. The transmigrated Lu Jiao doesn't just come into their lives and make everyone change their opinion of her in a snap. Xie Yunjiao still dislikes Lu Jiao's face even if he knows the person occupying Lu Jiao isn't the real Lu Jiao. The fourth son finally called her "mom" with lots of affection within the last couple of chapters. The second and third son is warming up to calling her mom, while the first son is like their father who tries to be indifferent. One thing special aspect of Lu Jiao is her personal space that she can store things in and have special herbs and medicine. Apart from that, Lu Jiao uses her own wits and skills to do menial things like cook and gather food for her family. Then slowly building good relations to those that treat her well. I'm assuming we're going to see more cute interactions with the four kids and in time, Xie Yunjiao will be able to fall in love with her. Though this doesn't a romance tag, I think it'll be fun to read despite that. Because though it's plot driven, the characters have an underlying motive.

I have read this whole story. A mind blowing story with great characters and worthy reading plot. spoiler alert- Lu Jiao transmigrated and become the mother of four children... Her predecessor used to beat the children, so her husband and children hated her. After transmigrating, She cured her husband's leg and start treating children nicely so that in future when they will become bigshot, they will not take revenge on her. She has space and good medical skills. Eventually, both husband and wife fell in love with each other. She loved the fourth child much dearly, after it was find out that he was not their child but was actually the prince's child.At last, he become the emperor, his father first assistant. Nice story you can give it a try.

This had me hooked from the start. Great writing plus I love stories about waking up married with children. Especially those from history and have space

Review Until Chapter 40: The story is good nothing outstanding so far. The ML zeroed in on the FL as another entity different from the old Luo Jiao whom he detested. So this is one thing different. He’s very smart and astute in noticing the difference. The quadruplets are cute and adorable: a little domineering CEO-type, little aggressive, little actor and little cutie-pie 🥰 Anyhoo, FL is good and kick-ass. Her space is not OP. She can only stay there for 3 hours before she’s forcefully kicked out by her space. Her stream water just nourishes and could not heal any illnesses or injuries. Though it is unknown at this point if it could change and be upgraded. She has a farmland where she planted some herbs, veggies, and fruits. For a change, she’s the only FL I know who planted modern fruits like strawberries 🍓, cherries 🍒, grapes 🍇, watermelons 🍉, and peaches 🍑. Peaches are so commonly used in the other stories. Her space also has a 3-bedroom bamboo house which stores her books, commonly used meds and medical equipment. She’s a military MD/surgeon. Overall, its a good read so far. pretty slow plot. got bored around chapter 200s. not a bad story but it's mid.
