I don't really understand webnovel these days. I'm not hating on the book but why was it chosen when there were many other unique books in pilot read that weren't chosen. There are so many books with this plot line and its getting boring seeing them every 2 weeks.

Ikr, that's one problem with both web novel and it's readers. Even this week there are a couple of stories with different storyline but look at views yet, they probably won't get selected. Last week's book 'book transmigration: happy ending....' one was so good I liked it very much but look at the one that got picked in the end. In short it's not only webnovel but also the readers who are soo hung up these kind of stories.

The unique stories always get way less votes than the transmigration or rebirth stories where the FL is a perfect mary sue who is the top expert in every single job or skill on earth and has the personality of a wet noodle. I think for one of the more interesting storylines, I even begged people to vote for it to become a trial read instead of a rehash of the same freaking story that there are 200 versions of on the site, but it still got very few votes. The problem is a lot of the readers on WN have terrible taste. I’m honestly learning Chinese just so so I can read what I want lol
