Honestly, this is pretty bad. I gave it a chance like the other stories I read, but this one had zero improvement from start to finish. The MC relies on luck and I get that, but don't make it like he is trying hard when he obviously isn't. He also may notbe smart, but everyone else is also an idiot too. They all act like they've been there for years and know everything just to get "shocked" again and again. If you want a good example of a decent plot in a ruined world, make one about someone starting civilization again or something. Also, what newborn matures in less than a week and knows more about the world than an adult that they have been joined to the hip to.
