Author seems to have an irrational hate towards Dai Mubai to the extent of being illogical. So I don't really understand where that hate come from. If I get a callable answer I will change this review to the 3.4 ⭐ it should have been. Many said to me that he gave up his responsibility and the cat girl and that's why they hate him but it doesn't really make sense. He's born in a cruel family and is almost certain to die in the succession conflict so he want to live his live to it's best far from all those problem. And about the cat girl, why should he care? Because they're fiancee by their hateful families? Come on, I think you're all more mature than that.

Your looking at it from an outsiders point of view from an insiders point of view Dai Mubai was raised in a violent world knowing that he would ether have to fight to live no matter what running away didn't free him of this fate he just abandoned Zhu Zhuqing to suffer alone after promising to protect her so Dai is both a liar and coward.

The story is about someone that transmigrated as Tang Sans brother, who was able to edit his stats, and got taken in by the spirit hall. Well the translation could be better but its readable and theres a daily update. The story is not really good. Its the usual chinese cocky story. FIrst of all the mc is always like "wow im so handsome, talented and strong" even tho his "handsomenes" and "talent" was upgraded but he still became really arrogant due to it. 2nd of all: The usual DD story was fine/ good because, even tho its a chinese fanfic, didnt add too many chinese interpretations into it so everyone could understand it. It was more plot focused. But this thing had the need to add "Dao", "chinese sayings that make no sense outside" and such things. 3rd of all: The usual pedophilia. An unbelievable beautiful 6 year old (mc) that makes everyone fall in love with him. A beautiful, but SLIGHTLY immature, girl that is sexy (novels words not mine/ Hu Liena AT AGE 10). Someone about 12 year old falling in love with a 6 year old (Qien Renxue and you can guess who else). 4th of all. Females. Every Female until chapter 35 was only inserted to show how handsome/ awesome the mc is aka every female has a strong love for the mc. No other female, with a name, was shown beside that. 5th of all. There are times when there are only info dumps (that last 3/4th of the chapter at least) instead of plot inside chapters that keeps repeating itself. 6th the "talent. The talent is a lvl 79 Soul sage at age 12 and needed to mention ,twice, that he barely trained. He also added that no one would think that hes a twin spirit when all of his spirit rings are black. The normal configuration would be 2 yellow, 2 purple, rest black. So hes really ignorant or stupid.. The author also had the need to add, just to highlight how awesome the mc is, that Hu Liena doesnt have a lot of talent with a lvl of 25 at age 10 or 11 (The Author kept changing it so who knows) Last but not least, his arrogance. He is extremely arrogant. Theres, in every 2 chapters, at least 1 mention how handsome and awesome he is. He put his hands behind his back during a fight with the usual eyes that express more emotions than 99% of chinese novels. In this case, Cold eyes. What next? Happy eyes? Fearful eyes? World Background is kinda ruined because the author (author and not translator) keeps messing up slight details light age and needed to add dao
