Why so short? I'm thinking about reading it but the length seems like an issue

It is the length of a traditional novel. The story came to its conclusion, and I decided to not continue it due to the lack of interest from WN audience. Sadly :]

Great story and a fitting end. I would have loved to experience more about Matt's descent into madness. Some part of me hopes for a happier ending for the wraiths, and to read about the aftershock of Zero's actions. A short story but very well developed, and beautifully written. Im glad to have been a part of this journey, thank you for this.

I have a question about the relationship between ability and descent into madness for wraiths - does it depend from person to person on how many aspects can they hold before their mind breaks and they become insane? also, connected to that, could Matt have lived a very long time if he didn't try to counter Zero`s ability given that he was naturally predispositioned to handle a lot of aspects (it would take him a long time to reach the limit if he just lived a normal life, I assume)

There is a correlation between the number of aspects one can hold in their mind and the onset of the disease, but there are many other factors involved. As for whether or not Matt would have ended up in the same state if he did not fought Zero, sorry, but that is left ambiguous on purpose :] One might argue that he has been experiencing symptoms from the very first chapter of the novel, or that he does not have the disease at all. It is up to your interpretation.

Free Fall was one of the most impactful webnovels I've ever read.
