Whats happening to webnovel. Once upon a time, I looked forward to my Fridays because of the great books that came out every week. As time passed, the quality dropped slowly, but as Webnovel already had all the good books, this was understable. The issue with this site is that it is bringing out books that are popular in china. And the type of books they like is the type of books we tend to not like over here in the states. I feel like a lot of Chinese authors that write books in china for the Chinese web novel. They tend to write what's popular to make money. They are not worried about creating the best story they can. That's why there is a lot of martial arts novels. It's just what they like. It is also the reason why those stories are 2000+ chapters long.
