question for you author as I um no offense i dont want to continue reading after Amal joined the team. It seems as if you're trying to go for a Guardians of the Galaxy vibe and the whole morally incorrect or correct stuff is really and I mean really irritating. I understand Amal is supposedly some sort of Saint reincarnate. But because of that I feel as if Eva and Miko are losing their personalities and the direction of the whole group feels like a series of side quests.

Science fiction is the examination of humanity from many perspectives, such as social, economical, and political. Almost all scifi that exists delves into morality. I'm surprised that you didn't pick up on that before, and am disappointed that you find exploring humanist themes "irritating".

Well tbh I'm not irritated by exploring morality Its more irritating with the way it's served as an extremely idealistic version. Morals are social constructions to begin with. Especially in the deep space. What you touched on in the POW arc was intriguing and honestly I wish you did expand on the differences culturally on the drogars. I digress. anyways to have the MC and her crew locked by morals and in turn having them react based off those morals and not consider or explore the fact that in the outer colonies their morals would be vastly different than the cushy planet/city dwellers. even on earth everyone's morals are intriguingly different. To say bad is bad and good is good and then lock them into such a base form of morals is idealistic. idk if I'm making sense or rambling but eh

Why do you think I introduced Amal? To give moral differences and texture. I do not want every single Raven to be the same. That's boring and uninteresting. In fact, there will be more Ravens, and they will all bring their different moralities to the table. And the colonies do have different morals from the Federal core. That's explored too. Same with the Drogar and the Hegemony. This whole book is about exploring different sides and opinions - just look at my logo, lol.

I'm not saying u didn't explore other morals by the drogar bit I literally meant culturally more indepth. Learning about that society was really fun thanks for that! I understand the idea of each raven having their own morals but I just felt like that when you introduced Amal officially she immediately commandeered the group and it felt like a moral "hijacking" even with the build up of Eva's understanding of herself and greed.

Yep, and there's a reason why they began to co-opt her personal beliefs - it's because she's their friend. Like you are an amalgamation of your friends' beliefs and ideas. Amal isn't a pacifist because she hates killing - it's because she's traumatized by violence many times over. They become less violent in order to ease her life a bit. And who says she isn't challenged later, when other Ravens come on the scene? (spoiler, she is haha).

And also thanks for your praise of the parts that you enjoy most. I'm glad those parts bring you joy. I get that things may get frustrating, but that's the nature of incepting and contrasting ideas, especially ones that go outside the norm. This book is full of them, especially politically, socio-economically, and in regards to gender relations.

Can I ask what type of romance this is? Harem, non harem, female x male, female x female? With there being no tags it’s harder to decide wether I want to read or not.

Hi! Sorry about the lack of tags. The place I publish at literally doesn't add them. It's frustrating. In any case, the romance is light. No harem. bxg, gxg.

It's hard to explain without spoilers. But there are a few characters who do become that. I honestly haven't gotten to that part of the story yet, though. It's mostly adventure thus far.
