In the pile of endless garbage this one shines the most. The most promising novel in this trial read(for me). Oh yeah there is also Pokemon's and other anime reference. It's great. And there's also the fact that the author probably add a meme that a caterpie evolve into Rayquaza. I wonder if anyone has ever realized this.

Wow, a quality novel, well atleast compared to the utter sub-human trash available so far. MC is an expert who died from tribulation and reincarnated as a young man in a new world. Due to the laws (not governmental laws, but spiritual/magical stuff) of the world he's in, he can't personally cultivate using the methods from his former world. Therefore, he must rely on his soul beast to cultivate, this is not an original idea, his soul beast is well known trash-tier, but with his OP past-life methods, it becomes stronger. The way it's portrayed so far is what grabs my attention, there's young masters, but they don't act like arrogant d-bags. The author took the extra step to explain the feelings of side-characters to make them different then the "Oh so you're trash, hahaha". If you read it, you can see the difference compared to the mass produced garbage. The world setting is pretty standard, yet the author takes the time to explain it, rather then giving us a cookie cutter template that we always see in other novels. He doesn't explain the world, but the differences in power systems between his former world and current. The MC is an expert, so don't expect any character development. He's lived a full life already. I haven't seen those cliché's where everyone mocks him on the daily, the attitudes and designs of other characters are different then regular novels. In conclusion, there's not much difference so far (Chapter 20) with this novel and others, all though the genre of pets is cookie cutter, instead of taking it straight out of the package like other novels, the author has decided to explain things and increase the depths of other things. Then again this is a C20 review, who knows if he goes full china #1 later.

Rise Of The Strongest Mage

Ever since Xiao Wei was a child, she was constantly bullied. Because of this constant bullying, she closed herself away and became a fat slob who played video games every day. After Xiao Wei graduated from high school, she didn’t wish to get a job or get married. She had chosen to do the one thing she was most confident in – play video games. Every day as a NEET she played the hottest online video game - World Of Ancient Legends(WoAL). With each passing day, she would get more and more obese until it had been ages since she was able to see her own feet by looking down. Finally, on her 28th birthday, her heart had had enough. Unable to pump enough blood throughout her enormous body, it stopped, giving up. Her life flashed through her eyes, making her realize something important - In the twenty-eight years that she lived, Xiao Wei didn’t accomplish anything. She had just drifted through life, unseen and unnoticed, just a tiny dot-insignificant and worthless. She thought, “If I had another chance. I would definitely accomplish something. I would become the strongest player in WoAL, standing above all and below none. I would become a pro gamer, one to be envied and feared.” Her eyes closed as she passed away. With a jolt, Xiao Wei opened her eyes again, feeling as if she had just had the longest dream of her life. Old memories flashed in her eyes, making her realize, “I don’t know why, but it seems I am back to my eighteen-year-old body!” Xiao Wei smiled, “I, in this lifetime, will not let myself go. I won’t cause problems for my parents. I will accomplish something, no, everything in this life. I will become the strongest player in the WoAL. I will become the strongest pro player.” https://www.patreon.com/plankdemi

The Devil in White: An AA Online Novel

https://www.patreon.com/RavensURL Amelia Patrick was your average college student and gamer. Her life was pretty full between her coursework and normal life during the day and her time as a Chronicler and Magical Academy Instructor in Awakened Aspirations Online at night. Suddenly she's dealing with what, time travelers? Virtual Reality ending super level quests? Singing to monsters? Was that a cooking showdown? Amelia just wanted to putter around in her favorite online game not be involved in some super elaborate game world-ending nonsense. There's something to be said for simplicity, and after she is somewhat forcibly recruited into the party led by the enigmatic Devil in White, Aidan, it takes all her wits to just stay afloat. That's not even mentioning the one-armed hurricane named Raven who seems to be taking every possible chance to drive Amelia crazy. Or the tall and handsome Forsythe, a swordsman of incredible skill, few words, and cold eyes. And who is Fred? Why should she fear him? Or not fear him for that matter? --------------------- Vol. I Amelia and her compatriots adventure forth in an all original VRMMO named Awakened Aspirations Online, run by a powerful corporate AI where the upper ceiling of content has yet to be found, skills are being discovered every day, and it's popular to let the world watch you while you quest. ------------------- "You need rules at some point. It was a world far beyond normal rules. Magic. Skills. HP. True death." Aidan sighed. "The rules were 'strike the enemy', 'press forward', 'you are a human being', 'live', 'don't let them die', 'this is the real world', 'laugh and love', 'mourn and grieve', 'remember'." "What's 10?" Amelia asked, counting twice. "Secret," Forsythe said. He was grinning uncharacteristically. "C'mon. We gotta tell her!" Raven complained. "Make an exception." Aidan finally supplied. "Well, what is it then?" Amelia demanded. "Make an exception," Aidan repeated. "Look I get the other ones, mostly, but that last one…" Amelia complained. "There comes a spot in your journey where sometimes you have to break a rule. So we had to have a rule about it." Aidan explained. "Like when?" Amelia chuckled. "Those are pretty all-encompassing generic rules." "Like when we fought the final boss and died," Aidan said simply, silencing her. "I imagined more," Forsythe admitted. "Rules?" Aidan asked, perplexed. "No, from death," Forsythe said.
