I kinda like the idea of the more overpowered spells costing more, so that he has to constantly get new spells. Then has to upgrade those spells to fight enemies many before he's ready. Just sounds cool.

Then having to upgrade that weakest one for some other reason, and then getting another spell. Its a good loop that will introduce all sorts of magic. Maybe add stuff like not relying on the system because you can't control the output effectively.

Even the strongest skill can become the weakest skill depending on the use of the user. If the user cannot display the skill properly, the skill is useless. But clearly the author of this novel did not consider control nor power nor reasoning nor usage. Technically the novel didn't consider anything if there is this much flaws already, lol.
