Honestly the story itself is quite good, theres no mistakes in the writing so its understandable unlike some novels, the ideas behind the plot are also quite good. its just the way its written really annoys me for some reason. its written like a diary, its first person so theres a lot of I’s, which just if im being honest ruins the immersion into the story. I couldnt get passed it and ended up dropping the novel, but if you can get past the writting style its not a bad novel. peoples preferences differ so give it a try, if you like it awesome if you dont, then thats to bad, cause your like me, meaning your very picky with what you read and are nearly always bored

You'd like 1st person more if the main character had thoughts and feelings about the characters, settings, and action. This MC is so milquetoast you can't enjoy his narration.
Maybe, most 1st person POV novels i cant read because they just annoy me. sometimes if the rest of the novels really good i can ignore the POV but it still annoys me.
