I really really like the story, its funny, and the maids are brilliant however the translation quality is rivaling the worst MTL Ive ever read. It frequently mixes up gender pronouns like shes into hes and sometimes will simply shorten sentences into something completely unintelligible. If anyone knows where I can find the raws to this theres a 9/10 chance itll be better translated because I really want to read this but the qualitys so poor.

This is translation review, not novel review. If you are not familiar with it, webnovel has started westernizing most of the novels in 2021. This is awful practice that kills original novel. At best you get only names, places and organizations westernized and at worst you get half novel gutted and other half totally rewritten by translator. With best case scenario you get only names, places and organizations westernized which introduces plotholes cause while names are westernized, actual writing and character culture arent. You get chinese way of thinking, chinese places and organizations translated into most famous western (USA) alternatives and as a result you see absurdity. And with the worth case scenario, you are not actually reading original authors work, but some "translators" plagiarization cause half novel is removed (sometimes critical explanations) and other half is badly rewritten. And cause this requires so much work compared to normal translation, either webnovel is stealing original authors work and rewriting it (cause most of those novels dont come from qidian) or they are just using translators that dont know chinese so they are rewriting story with help of MTL (seen too many edited MTL translations lately on webnovel). overall any westernized novel deserves automatic 1 star review.

Westernizing novels is a great indication of the current state of this app. 1. Stealing novels and rewriting them, breaking/abusing global copyright laws. 2. Trash translations. 3. These stories are mediocre at best, every single trial read is not worth looking into if they are not from a credible author and or translator. 4. Novels chosen for voting pool often get dropped by the translators when no one is supporting them. And no one is supporting them because they're either the same as other webnovels or other viable reasons. For this novel, it is not that bad. But the immersion is broken for me when it's clearly been changed heavily by the translator. Truly, it feels like they white-washed everything to fit the intended audience, but ended up backfiring on them instead. Ruins the experience.

This novel is too overrated. The translation sucks. I could feel my brain cells dieing just trying to read this. Anyone who is going to read this, read with caution.

This translation is simply trash of the lowest tier. The gender of certain characters changes constantly and the grammar is awful while staying on a level below grade school. If this was a fan translation I would still recommend a few more years of learning English. BUT this is supposed to be professional and more importantly paid work. This is insulting and deplorable.

Trash. The idea and translation are garbage. If the maids are op, then why are they maids? Why are they following the MC? The system is fine, but the worldbuilding is simply garbage.

The concept is soemwhat interesting but there are some major flaws. First is the translation is garbage, one of the maids is constantly refered to as “HE”. The numbers for the system arent consisten. The rank of the MC keep changing randomly. The maids are nice but they are super OP so there is no suspense.
