I honestly feel it's jumping the gun making the book premium so soon and that's why I've decided to make my review. Slight spoilers btw. The writing can get very repetitive, using the same words and identifiers constantly within the same paragraph. Character and story are also pretty generic. Kid died, got reincarnated, finds out he has a OP system, the works. As far as the MC goes he's about as spicy as flour. No motivation beyond "getting stronger" after they get invaded and he sees his parents die, it's now "get stronger to get revenge". His dialouge and interactions are pretty meh as well.. It's fight scene, talk about how crazy the fighting is during the fight, then eyyyyy I got some stuff, rinse repeat. Conversations are stiff and don't really add much, there is even a section where he and his father do entire conversations from looking at each other. Overall the writing quality is average, the world building is kinda interesting, almost more so than the main story line at times. But at barely 50 chapters with a pretty lackluster story and these issues I feel the author is riding off his success with other novels. His promise of a Mashup of novels seems to be the end goal and to me he's rushing there at the cost of the story.

I feel the same way, I enjoyed the authors other works as a past time but never expected a lot since it was meant to be a 1 dimensional OP MC and that's it. This one is just lazy and riding the coattails of there previous success, it is a rather big disappointment for I had thought that with such a strong start, the author would come out of it better than ever, ready to write more stories with a bit more depth and yet here we are, another rinse and repeat, copy and paste. Disappointing is about all I could say about this novel. Maybe they are hungry to keep the previous momentum of other writings idk, what I do know is my journey with said author will be ending here although brief my time was well spent, happy reading all.

I think ultimately that's the worst thing about this novel, it's just downright boring lol. It's like a cheap re-skinning of a game, you know it's barely deep enough to be considered dlc but the company is marketing it like a whole new game. And people buy into it because they like the norm and the developers promised it mixes into the larger series as a whole. In other terms, a simple cash grab.

Perfect analogy tbh, couldn't of said it better myself.

Lowkey I'm a bit pissy that the author pinned his own comment. Otherwise people would see me more since top 3 comments are on the front page. And one of the other comments isn't even about the book lol.

that is true, but if you give this novel a chance you are going to view a completely change of plot as the MC even loses his system...

I gave it a chance, then it wanted me to pay for poor quality. I won't pay for something unpolished for a promise of what's to come. Rewriting the early stuff and making it better would be how I'm convinced lol.

Hmm. If you say it is a cheap reskin of a game, would you mind saying which game it is a copy of?

I was making an analogy not comparing it to a actual real life game.
