You do understand that assuming that all chinese novels in modern settings always have racist elements in them is actually racist also?

Yea I sense it too fellow daoist. Like a hunter I see the hints and trails of the ugly beast that might read it's head so my hopes are withdrawn a bit. But it does have potential so I'll confirm first before jumping ship.

Have you even read the book? Or did you stop at chapter 3? There are only two nationalistic sentences - one in chapter 3 another in chapter 7 or 5 I think. It would be understandable (under the assumption that you read up to chapter 3) if you assumed that the book will be full of nationalism since you may have seen this element. BUT the book has no racism (at least all currently released 35 chapters) I get that few trial read book had it but don't make assumption of other book basing on this especially since there are different author.

i read it till 20 but from my experience almost all the novels in which china exist it turned out to be racist after 50or60 chapters but still, I didn't give it 1 star because the story was good and racism is still speculation on my part

not really when it's the truth literally all Chinese novels talk about nationalism and are racist towards other countries (I'm talking about novels where China exists in Chinese novels)
