i am sorry for my previous comment write the novel how u want, worst think for novels is if authors listen too much to their readers i just dont like harem, so i wouldnt read most stories with it but there are many ppl who love harem so just choose 1 option and stick with it

No need to apologize, bro, everybody has their own preferences, I usually don't mind either in a novel, but I just don't know how well I would write a harem one, so, this one won't have a harem, at least not for now because I am planning on writing 1 or 2 more novels that take place in the same universe and the same time as this one, then fusing it all together in the 4th novel. There might be some characters that have a harem, some just one chick, maybe some will be single till the end hahahaha
