This review is at about 375 chapters in, and I will say that this is by far the best apocalypse novel on the site, if not the best novel in general. I am a pretty picky reader, but this novel is honestly among the best in practically all aspects. The writing is top quality and only gets better as the story progresses. The stability of updates is fantastic, and if the author does miss a chapter, he usually gives an additional chapter the next day or some time during the week to make up for it. As some people stated, the story development is a slow burn at first, but it establishes a fascinating world, the power system, and a good foundation. Now, the character design, which in my opinion, is the best part of this novel. The characters all have rich personalities of their own, their own ambitions and goals, and their interactions are becoming my favorite aspect of this novel. For the world background, without going into too much to avoid spoilers, for their world, there has been a lot of focus on their starting area and its development. Still, there has been the development of what awaits them later, and with a few recent things added, there will surely be many exciting things to come in the future. I kept it relatively short, but I suggest giving this novel a try, and you will most definitely enjoy it.

LIKEHmm. I've never read LOTM but I have read another cuttlefish work. I have also read TKA. In my personal preference, I rank this with TKA as two of the best novels I've read. That being said, I will be unbiased and say, although this book is very good from the very start in my opinion, it may not be to everyone's likings at the start. It gets much, MUCH better as you keep reading. By that I mean some of the characters personalities change a decent bit as time goes on. (the character development in this novel is god-tier)
headlimit:how good is this? TKA good? LOTM good? then its really good. but if its like the quint warlock good then its not really good coz it kinda give me the same vibe lol.
im open for any genre really provided, the editing and writing is good(this is basic). a poor grammar can be really off puting sometimes. then there the basic writing where author fail to do their homework or repeatedly being inconsistent with his own lore or just outright not making any common sense. for example there was this novel back then i forgot, but the MC is running out of a collapsing cave. its crumbling and could collapse any minute, but next chapter after running for full 30mins they finally reach the outside and milliseconds away after they exit the cave collapse. then the author call it close shave. how more bad a writing could it be. not only its plot armour but a stupidly used too, lol. but anyone that read the gem of cuttlefish's master work or finished reading the kings avatar would know the kind of standard im talking about. so yes i would give this a try. the chapter stockpiles kinda low though...

I've read up to 200, I only ask is the MC's character/personality always going to stay that way; indifferent to everything, cause I'm having second thoughts on continuing if that is the case.

Oh definitely not. That why I say the character development is amazing. I don't believe this is a spoiler so I'll say he opens up more and starts viewing a lot of them as more than just means to an end. Obviously he remains cold and ruthless to his enemies though
