Mediocre at best. Only at chapter 20, but it is enough to make a decision. There are 2 major issue: 1st, the characters are all flat and hollow (the sister being the worst case), and 2nd, the cultivation just sucks. This covers a majority of what is covered so far, and for as much as it is talked about, little is actually said. The worst charcter in the book so far is the sister who is entirely forced and has a shallow overly-childish personality (who's speach and behavior more closely resembles the thoughts of a pet dog than a normal person). Furthermore, the chance encounter with the "half-teacher" was pointless and simply a dumb excuse to make the sister relevant. As for the magic cultivation, it implies difficulty, and suggests a solid foundation is important, but he flies through the levels so fast there is no time to explain anything- so instead the author just waves his hand over it. The mc cultivates so fast it seems like he might reach the top power house level in a few months of cultivating.
