You say that you don't need every detail. But just wait there will be a detail that you want to see or that is very important in the novel but was not in the comic. And there is nothing wrong with extra details. Another thing is that its pacing is way too fast there is no flow of time. One chapter is about a day then the next chapter is about a few days late. LIke wow did it get there without any explaining.
