It’s nice to see this book getting a comic adaptation. Thank goodness the art doesn’t look... wonky or anything. And unlike the other comics on here, translations actually pretty good (as far as I can tell from just 5 chapters), but the translator(s) does make some questionable choices cause I can not, for the love of me, think of anyone who has ever used the word “coitus” before.
Apart from all that, the only thing I can complain about is the pacing, it’s just all over the place and you can tell that they cut out a lot of the book as well. Did they literally just cover 14 chapters from the book in just 5 chapters? I’m telling you, even speed runners aren’t that fast.
If you haven’t already, go read the book first, same name as the comic. I can tell you that if you like the book, you won’t necessarily like the comic,but if you like the comic, then you’ll definitely like the book.
