I'm gonna be frank and say that this novel in not my cup of tea. I usually don't read any romance related novels so i'm bias but i'll try not to be. This novel to me comes off like a slice of life romance novel from an anime. Its slow paced with easy to follow dialog. I find the mc's character kind of unique because he can teleport but apparently has no control, also because he's such a loser he has to pay for a girlfriend. I can relate to that. What I don't like is how bland reading about the mc makes me feel. Because there's a difference between normal student and normal student with no essence or color. I've been a normal student but I know to other that I was quirky, unlikeable for some reason and flushed with mistakes. That's normal because flaws make a character relatable. The other thing I don't like is how it reads like a D class anime were you know everything about to happen next. You know like boy, girl, monster. Powerful girl kills monster or gets injury saving stupid boy. Boy learns about supernatural stuff. Masters ability or master it last minutes because really big monster about to kill girl. Then happy ever after. The point is it doesn't suck its just for a specic audience.

I was afraid people would find Kenji boring at first haha. And, yeah, in some aspects, he may not be an in-your-face character like I'm used to writing. Though, the main plot of this novel is Kenji's transformation and self discovery, so hopefully my readers are willing to stick around to see his development.
