The author already started to drag fights out by chapter 33 when the mc could have ended it easily. Everyone except the mc is evil and hates little kids. The people that are evil arent even logically evil. They just hate the mc for no reason. The first reaction we saw in the story was people wanting to literally beat him up because he was a 10 year old orphan and no one even tried to stop them. All of the worldbuilding is done through conversations which leads to random side characters talking way too much about information that isnt relevant for the current situation at that part in the story. There is also the extreme edge coming out of the mc that comes off as cringe instead of cool.

LIKEEveryone is extremely narrow minded and cant seem to understand anyones point of view other then their own. If the mc kills someone in self defense hes instantly a murder that loves killing people and gets pleasure from it. Its garbage writing. I honestly have no idea why this trash is so popular other then the interesting plot premise. But otherwise its just bad.
what is there to understand about Lucifer's POV after he killed like 1/3 of Delta Squad? Your "redemption" would indeed be possible if Xavier decided to catch Lucifer himself instead of sending just some random crooks to let them die and spice up the conflict between them... but yeah idk if you read vol 7 but in the end Lucifer would've become their enemy anyway (・o・)
No, story is just garbage. Every enemy of Mc becomes cardboard puppy kicking villain. Every. Single. One. Character development is nonexistent. Mc is just murder hobo psychopath. Worldbuilding has a lot of plotholes. Grammar sucks.
