There's two types of OP characters. One, are characters that written to be very OP but still harmonise and drive the story/novel. The other, are those that simply stick out like a sore thumb in the story, like a burned pixel in a screen. The MC in the novel is the latter.

I wouldn't call it 2 types of op characters. One is an author who can make the story interesting despite having an invincible main character. And the other is an author writing for the sake of writing and can't make the story interesting. An example of the first is OPM and all those other similar pieces with invincible Mc. Superman for example, but he has a big weakness so not sure if it counts

This is one of those novels where just a few chapters are way to much. MC has way more plot armor than usual, with a big touch of the I am awesome, watch me slap someone's face sickness. Power levels are arbitrary bullshit and don't matter at all to the MC which makes any accomplishments of others totally meaningless. Background characters as well as the administration must be mostly schizophrenic because they change their attitude and motivations so fast it gives me whiplash. MC has the intelligence of a freight truck barreling ahead without any breaks. I have rarely seen a more undeserving MC gain power, but even then the system is way to op. In essence the MC has to follow basic orders to gain infinite power and when I say basic I mean walk there, dig here, open this cupboard etc. This is so bad I don't even want to think about it anymore.

It's not good.... The ranking of power levels or cultivation don't really matter for the MC, at the beginning we are told he has the lowest magic power level in the academy but after getting a single spell all of a sudden he insta cast like 9 spells in quick succession. It doesn't make sense, none of it does...

Well. It was fun, but chapters 33+ are just copying the monogatari series. First arc, Senjougahara, expect substituted by a girl named Elizabeth. Instead of a crab, its a demon. Both taking away their weight. Coincidence? I think not!

I am giving the story alow score because there are not many chapter. I will change it, later. So the character is your typical mc that gets transmigrated, nothing special, wish we would see more of his old life. The world is still in the process of being built. It will also take time for the characters to mature, I hope that there is a twist with the mc(maybe he will be the bad guy)
