The story looked interesting until chapter 9. The fated encounter with Elf girl. I can ignore the Elf girl being a slave, but the way the author has the Elf 'imprint' on the MC is just beyond salvation. Elf girl looks at MC, the first thought that appears to her mind is how trustworthy and shining example of humanity the MC is! The MC gives her some food - she begins to look at the MC as if he is her whole world. As if she lives, and breathes for him. This is just nonsensical harem building. I don't mind harems, but surely they must have some basis? Every other review simply being petition, or 5 star spam has pushed this novel to 4.6 stars which is just incredibly silly. Discounting story development, even the translation quality is abysmal. How is this 5 stars?

I have not read any of this yet, I am about to start. However, I am curious whether the dragons provide a power boost to the Mc himself or are they just additional combat support ranging from battling along to carrying the Mc through battles?
Fred_Boyd:honestly this is a pretty good story I would highly suggest just skipping ahead like 4 chapters or so and continuing bc the story gets better and better the further it goes on
Yes, they do give a power boost to MC, and it's quite OP. When he reaches the Saint Rank(After Rank-9), his dragons allows him to get 50-99 strand of laws EACH(This is only applicable to when he broke through). Still, most geniuses has 60+ strand of laws at their belt(greatest geniuses are at 80) yet MC has 4 laws at 99, the rest are in 50-90. Oh and by the way, when he breeds the dragons, they get a new dragon with different attributes right? By breeding, his laws fuses.(Fire law and Water law fused since he allowed the fire and water dragon to breed). Fusion laws gives him a power boost, so I mind you. This info is available around chapter 220+

Wow thanks, I have started however not as far as you are mentioning. was asking since I normally enjoy reading non human Mc and pet novel however I learned in those the Mc is more acceptable to getting lead around the nose a good portion of the novel without efficient strength or backing.

i think you didn't read the novel. lets recap elf in the middle of the human kingdom and hungry. she didn't imprint on him because of the food she just decide to stay with a possible nice person that feed her than be crazy and try to escape from the center of the human kingdom when she is weak and surrounded by possible cruel humans.... it is logical. she does fall in love but during a year of cohabiting as his maid in the college so again logical.
how does that make it logical bro "possible nice person so imprint me now" you just want to justify it-
