Because sending Emiya is the most cost-efficient choice, or at least that was how it looked like at that time.
Welp, I was a reader first before an author xD
As to why not outright save the world, it falls under the Quantum Time Lock (which states that worlds with bad ends are cut off to prevent further energy usage; this is in canon). Counterguardians are basically the nuclear weapons of Alaya, and since it is far more costly to send one on a world about to be pruned, Alaya left it to the time lock instead (something that should be stated along MC's words of "Alaya is not here in the first place!"). Only when there are threats enough to warrant its attention would it send a counter guardian. Since FGO is an abandoned world line (from what I remember), it didn't do much to it (which implied that Alaya has that 'It is what it is ' attitude for the FGO worldline).
But he is a threat to that world. It was stated in canon that Galahad somewhat died after acquiring the grail, but it was heavily implied that it was the counterforce (Alaya) who did that since 1.) It didn't want humanity to have the Grail's power; and 2.) Britain should fall to inspire its succeeding empires in history. Putting Galahad in the equation back is basically contradicting these two points, which is why Alaya chose to deal with him as he is seen as a latent (but a huge) potential threat (with the grail as well as another worlds's Philosopher's Stone).
Well, the Kanshou and Byakuya were already stated to be pseudo-divine constructs, or at least, that's how their original version are. That was the main reason behind its 'sharpness' despite it being a C rank NP. As for Ea, yeah, that shouldn't have been in the canon, but it was also my mistake that I forgot to emphasize this point. Archer at that moment was buffed to the heavens by Alaya (basically not only providing him prana but allowing his UBW to reach another level). This battle was originally made to be considered as something 'out of the canon scope' since it involved gods in the first place. This was also an issue I reached once I wanted the MC to actively involve himself in higher-beings. Just by looking at entities like Amaterasu (Extella), I could only try my best to scale their strength based on their canon as well as a reasonable judgement. So... Tl;dr: Kanshou and Byakuya were originally pseudo divine constructs at the very least (their og versions). The Archer in this chapter shouldn't be judged by canon stuff anymore (since he was buffed to the heavens). Lastly, I am in no way rewriting the canon; I was simply forced to write things beyond it since we are entering phases where MC begins to encounter gods and higher level entities in the Nasuverse.
Idk what I was doing at that time, but looking at my notes made me realize that I wrote him that way since he was fully supported by Alaya. Like, that wouldn't be his normal state (or even buffed state as a CG), but him being able to do things beyond his canon self when supported by Alaya sounded much reasonable than simply giving him unlimited prana.
Chalk it up to his super duper buffed state under Alaya.
I see. It could look like that sometimes. What I considered back then is how "gods" are suppressed whenever they come to the physical realm. Special-grades are with hacks so they could barely fight that. However, that was it. At the end of the day, Magisters who could clash against full-powered gods head-on is still above them. Think of it as the special-grades being on half a level of Magisters. Since they really are stronger than the preceding magician rank (Semi-S) with their hacks, they can be considered as (S-Rank Two) while Magisters are sitting at rank one. After all, what special-grades lacked are the base life level. For example, Satoru's infinity works on the premise of his brain being able to process things. So, if they are actually given a way to upgrade from that bottleneck, that and their hacks will stand a chance against legitimate gods.
Not really. There'll be a time when his [Summoning] function becomes something else. I'll be dropping some hints here and there so do watch out for them ;)
That depends honestly. Special-grade sorcerers could limit their output and range of their attack, but there are times when they are stated to be able to do just that. Tsukumo, for once, could actually destroy the world with her CE. Thouhg I based this comparison more on their "hacks" as opposed to destruction power. We can see that there are many "hacks" in JJK that couldn't be overcome with brute power, in turn it becomes a matter of compatibility like Sukuna and Gojo. If Gojo was facing anyone else, they might not be able to bypass his infinity, but it just made out that Sukuna used Mahoraga to create an attack (blueprint) that would do exactly just that.
There are monsters that are as big as a two-storey one, so their loots will inevitably be big.Add to that the fact that the surface area is still limited (even if its height is big), there'll be some issues due to it.
Yes.
There's actually a plan here. With all the hints I planted in the first five chapters, this point will make more sense once those hints actively point out to something (yes, this has something to do with the plot).
It'll be quite obvious for her (Artemis in Fate), actually. What'll play out in the future is the couple in Fate teaching Nobu and Artemis some stuff regarding romance.
Not really. It's just a "role" he has to play (so he'll limit himself at what hsi indicators say). His strength isn't nerfed; he assumed it'd be best to follow the "role" since he already knew about the counterforce at this time.
