It is a empire building novel so that is always a plus for me. However it has a lot of issues that just destroys the novel. The mc is very basic, really nothing special about him just average. The world building is very rudimentary there is some mentions but overall very bare bones. I like the gimmick of summoning gods, hero's, and armies to fight for you, but the execution of this system leads lots more to be desired. The story lacks all the administrative effort, political maneuvering and strategization that I expect from kingdom building books. Basically all we get is omg this god is the god of blah blah blah, and will help me with this, then nothing. No internal government administration because everything is taken care of by gods, we don't know any internal strife or how the people in his kingdom are faring in general. All the gods have the same personality ,loyal to mc. battles are nonexistent all we got is Athena with her army is able to defeat a an army with 5 times the size no actual description. I'm ranting here. Its an meh novel to read when you're board but be prepared to lose a few brain cells. If you like real strategization and kingdom building I would suggest black iron glory and tales of a reincarnated lord

both black iron glory and tales of a reincarnated Lord can be found online if you search up their name. the official translation team is Vera tales. honestly most web novels can be found online for free but you should support actual translating teams if possible. release that witch is decent but I def prefer the first two. hope this helps😁

OK, thanks. I started "tales of the reincarnated Lord", it's very slow at the start and it's pretty hard at the beginning to understand the story, I'm at the moment when Locke is on the way back and it's is slow enough is the sequel worth it?

Up to chapter 190 and I'm officially done with this novel. The short of it is that the translation is so trash it makes reading torture, the characters are uninteresting and no real personalities besides their one or two personality points, the world background is nonexistent, and the story feels like it's on rails and pretty basic. If you want to read my extended review continue below, otherwise, yeah not that good of a story and sucks to read. Translation: Let us start with the biggest offense of this novel. The translation is horrendous. Constant grammatical and sentence errors, names constantly change, sentences get cut short or make no sense, and overall felt like MTL or done by someone with a weak grasp of the English language. This point is my biggest complaint because I can deal with a poorly written book so long as is readable, but this one is both poorly written AND unreadable. Characters: So the premise of this book is summoning gods and armies to help the MC conquer a world connected to Earth. Sounds super cool with a bunch of possibilities for character interactions between the gods and mortals right? Sadly this is never presented. Characters have one or two personality traits: loyal to the MC, love the MC, one trait from their god persona (like the god Ares and Hercules likes battles or Hermes likes to run free and do mischief). Besides that, everyone is a cardboard cutout with no real depth to their character. We never even see any interactions between the gods unless the MC is present. This story would have been so much better if we could see how the gods feel about each other, how would Zeus feel about interacting with another King of Gods like Jupiter or Odin, and would they share stories or rivalries? Last on this topic, the MC is super bland. He is replaceable with anyone for he has no personality or real goals besides conquering the world. All of the work in ruling his kingdom is mainly done by his summons and he rarely does anything besides fight. Never we see him do diplomacy or bargaining with others, or make any strategy that involves anything more than just "we rush them," "we surprise attack them," or "surrender or die." Even his name is bland and uninteresting, the OP, super-duper powerful Sky Emperor... "Jerry." World-Building: There is none. That's it. There's nothing that makes this world interesting to read besides the premise that people can travel between earth and this cultivation world after they are 18 years old. There are no descriptions of this new world besides it being similar to an ancient earth and kingdoms are constantly at war with each other. No description of how people live, the interactions of kingdoms, notable geographic locations, or even interesting locals. But that is understandable considering how this story blazes through all of the worlds to constantly introduce new land/world to once again ignore. We never see how the day-to-day of the citizens, or how the gods and summons manage this land on behalf of the MC. Because of how fast the story flows, we never get attached to characters when they get introduced. The closest we got was this side character the MC helps release from being a slave to a different kingdom but he quickly disappears and stops being important. The author loves throwing bigger, stronger, and larger things into the world but never expands on this. At this point in the story, the MC rules land the equivalent of 100s of Earths and that's not the biggest in the world yet. Another point that I notice, is how everything comes so easy for the MC. Facing an enemy? summons a god. Weak against an enemy stronger than the MC? roll the system roulette and "luckily" pull the god/army/weapon needed to win. And that's the most annoying thing, even the system is redundant because it always brings exactly what the MC needs to overcome a "challenge." The system should be changed to "Authors A$$-Pull device" because it feels so forced when the author writes how the MC just happens to always get the best/needed thing to win. So again, a novel with many flaws. They could be simply ignored and read it as a simple power fantasy with not much thought to take into it because we all like our simple power fantasies from time to time. However, the translation quality makes this story unbearable to read and when you have to not only read an unreadable story but also a story that's written badly, then nothing can save that story from a bad review.

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.

Earth's Greatest Magus

#Top 20 Webnovel Best Sellers 2021, 2022, 2023, and in 2024 #### History is said to be written by the victors. If so, how about Earth's history? Two millennia ago, a young boy named Emery met a tragic fate. In his final moments, he was transmigrated and accepted into the Universe's most prestigious school of magic. “You are among the chosen few from thousands of human worlds. Whether you seize this opportunity or not, is up to you. You are at Magus Academy, the pinnacle of humanity's ingenuity. Magic, science, and might are all within reach for those who dare to pursue them." [Scan complete - Quadruple affinity. Water, Earth, Plant, and Darkness.] "A quadruple acolyte! Only one in tens of thousands of acolytes possess this!" Thus began Emery’s journey together with his 4 friends from the furthest corner of Earth. Each year they returned to Earth to grow, seek revenge, save the princess, conquer the world, and become Earth's Greatest Magus. Their names are still etched in our history books to this day. Authors Note: I have always been fascinated by writing fantasy relating to historical facts. In this story, you will find characters inspired by real-world myth and legend. The universe I created hopefully will make the reader's imagination excited and logically plausible. I hope you enjoy it. ### Here are some key aspects you'll encounter: MC: The protagonist follows the classic weak-to-strong arc. World: Picture a blend of Harry Potter and Star Wars. System: While it's primarily a magic-based story, there's a structured system in place that's easy to follow. Additionally, elements of cultivation. Harem: No, there are several female interests. But I enjoy romance first. So even if there will be more than one love interest it will be deep. Note: English is not my first language, but you'll notice that my writing and English skills gradually improve throughout the chapters. Other: The novel delves into deep research on science and history, enriching the storyline with factual and intriguing details. Give it a read—you might be pleasantly surprised by what unfolds.
