I had to stop at chap 18 or something, I could not get past a key point in the story. Your telling me that there is swords but not short sword or daggers!!! Look people are not stupid, they can take a consept like a sword and make it smaller for people, they would even save metal. From a logical point of view your not giving people enough credit. Rest of the story was fine, could have explained the contept of shadow manipulation not being magic a little bit more as you told it in a non convincing manner.

Yeah, even my little edit didn't explain what I was trying to convey as a writer. thankfully, I've stopped progressing the story any further until I've made some major and final edits. It'll be a while before all the changes to the story are posted by I can firmly state the issue regarding the Daggers and Sword will be fixed. This means longer chapters and a deeper storyline, where the value of conversation between characters will also define their roles and strength.
