I don't hate this novel, but chapter 338 is very weird, like actually pretty weird. It's about '4 African young men' and how they were harassing 2 girls, a member of the crowd says 'This is China. This isn’t a place for your indecency' like what? Another 'blocked the attacks of the Africans' I have no idea why them being African is being mentioned so much, another 'He smiled, revealing his white teeth' ok? afterwards the crowd celebrates when the Africans leave injured, idk something about this chapter is just very weird

there can be molesters who are from africa. if it was asian/caucasian or any other race for that matter, you probably wouldn't have batted an eye.

What exactly are you talking about, I never said that there couldn’t be molesters that are from Africa, I said the fact that they kept reinforcing that they were African was weird. Also, it’s pretty obvious that they did it because of nationalism or something because of how they portrayed everyone else cheering after they were beat up and the constant use of African. I have no clue what the purpose of you saying what you said is. Also, if they were saying Asian or Caucasian it would still be weird lol, the fact that they said African wasn’t the problem, the problem was that it kept being repeated, portraying them as the bad guys and their country as the heros.

Although 6 months reply. I think authour had to some sort of racism/nationalism to get around the CCP laws. probably since he said china and then it got white eagle nation etc. maybe got a email from CCP.

Ah that actually makes a lot of sense then, I’ve noticed this kind of thing in a lot of novels and have always wondered why. Thanks for letting me know 👍🏾

I doubt the author was forced to involve racism, nationalism could have been a possibility, but racism against black people is rampant in China. Like the is that one detergent ad, in which a black person gets shoved into a washing machine and gets washes "clean" into a chinese person. There is also a trend of chinese people going to Africa and giving black people money to film them saying "I am inferior, black people are inferior, chinese are the master race." in chinese, without them actually knowing what they are saying. China also has "reeducation" camps in which they stuff the members of their muslim minority. You can imagine them like the camps german people stuffed Jews into, just without the gas. So no outright genocide, but still high casuality rate.

Edit: I've also encountered chinese authors expressively saying they would like to commit genocide against every person not chinese in their novel.

But do Chinese also forgot they are also at the receiving end of it. Are Chinese not racially discriminated against in America and Some European countries? While they also face racism in other countries they are also being racist to other race it's like an unending cycle of racism when the oppressor are also oppressing others they think is lesser than them

another weird thing to add, in chapter 600ish onward/internasional talent competition or smth, no country named Africa being mention, but author somehow used nicknames.White Eagle Country for USALarge Eagle Country for UKBoar Country for Russia Neon Country for Japan...? perhaps etc etc it's like after that 'Africa incident' author face backlash and force to change when pointing country name. author can't even make up his/her mind how to call his/her own country, he/she use Xia and China interchangeably

What you're mentioning is typical Chinese racism and 'nationalism' where "China is best" cause 'reasons'. If you read enough of these novels you'll see a trend.

Journey of the Fate Destroying Emperor

After being reincarnated in a world of Gods, Demons, and Great Emperors, Wang Wei embarks on a journey to bear Heaven Mandate, proves the Dao, and proclaims himself a Great Emperor--a Supreme Being that overlooked Myriad World and Races. However, his Dao involves despising fate and its encompassing glory. So what awaits our protagonist on his journey full of vicissitudes to defy and even control fate? While he controls the fate of countless races and worlds, is fate playing with him? Can he escape the very shackles of fate that he controls? Better Synopsys: After an unknown cosmic accident that enveloped the Earth, Wang Wei was reincarnated into a magical world of spiritual cultivation. This world was composed of powerful Demons, cunning and brutal Devils, ruthless and indifferent Gods, detached and ethereal Immortals. More Importantly, Great Emperors--Supreme Beings that stand above everyone and everything, even life and death itself. Despite being born in one of the most powerful sects in the world, Wang Wei was placed under tremendous pressure when so many expectations were placed on him by his sect due to the fact they have not cultivated a Great Emperor for countless millennia--an act which threatened the fundamental status of his family, friends, and sect. On top of that, Wang Wei was not one of the chosen few of this world that was granted special gifts by Heaven, thus further aggravating his circumstances. However, he did not retreat in the face of adversity. With the mindset that “If Heaven does not give me, I shall take it for myself”, Wang Wei begins to plan his rise to the top with a brilliant tactical mind and the help of his mysterious soul so that one day he will become a Great Emperor that not only control his fate but the fate of all lives in existence. This story has a similar setting as Emperor Dominion, I am a True Villain, and Scoring the Sacred Body of the Ancients from the Get-go. If you enjoy this type of story, then you will enjoy my story. The first 30 chapters or so have many problems story-wise, so please bear with it as I was just beginning as a writer. However, I promise the story gets better afterward.
