This was definitely botted up to first place. However, anything is better than the vampire system book which was taking first place before this. So I’ll give it a 5 star for the heck of it.

LIKESo my problem with My Vampire System (MVS for short), is that it doesn’t give off the vibe that top ten novels should. The world feels bland and it doesn’t have anything the personally grabs my attention. The characters aren’t very unique which is guess is fine if you have other strong points about the writing to grab the readers attention. There is no real ‘goal’ or anything that the MC is striving to do throughout the 200-300 chapters I’ve read. The personality of the MC in the early chapters kind of disgusts me in the fact that he gained an awesome tool (a system) but he’s too grossed out by it to use it. (He doesn’t want to drink others blood.) Over time the writting quality slowly got better but the progression of the book was too slow for my tastes. MVS also got to the first place via bribing and begging people for more powerstones to unlock more chapters. Which I guess is fine…. but in doing so got to a much higher rank than it otherwise would have. At the end of most chapters there author commonly writes “give me X amount of powerstones and I will write additional X chapters this week.” I also dislike the fact that negative reviews about MVS get deleted after a couple of weeks by whim, because god forbid that people are allowed to have negative opinions about things. They might get deleted in order for it to maintain a high star, idk for sure but it irks me. As for what I think the top ten books should be…. I believe that the ranking system is good for the most part other than MVS and this book. Everyone has their own opinions so even though they aren’t my top ten, they are still very good. My personal favorites are Super Gene, Worlds Apocalypse Online, The Legendary Mechanic, My House of Horrors, Monster Paradise, Library of Heavens Path, Martial Peak, Extraordinary David, Astral Pet Store, and Reincarnation of the Strongest Swordsman. I like a lot more books than just those ones, but those are the memorable ones off the top of my head xD.
Fair enough, we all have our tastes.. I've read some of your personal favorites, especially Super Gene and Monsters Paradise, they only served to kill time while I wait for MVS to accumulate more chapters for batch reading.. One thing I don't agree with this is that an author cannot force readers to contribute powerstones by just comment alone, no matter how flashy or spammy the comment, more than 60% avid Webnovel readers were already hooked before they started paying attention to comments, how bout you, do you pick up a new book and start reading the comments and then let a begging author influence your pockets, so unreal.. But at this point your bias already runs deep so you may not be able to see things any other way. Since I'm always looking for new novels to kill time with while waiting for more MVS chapters, I'll thank you for your recommendations, I really hope they don't bore me cos I stopped Super Gene due to its repetitive cycles..
Yeah…. I might indeed have some bias from the field I work in. I believe in subconscious programIng and positive reinforcement from psychology xD. If you get rewarded with extra chapters from giving powerstone enough from active readers. Its pavlovian conditioning. However for this trick to work, it does require active readers in the first place 😉. Anyhow, thanks for checking out my book list, I hope you enjoy them! 😁
Finally found some who thinks that vampire system is trash(more or less).I was reading that novel reviews and god some of them even compared it to lotm saying it's on the same level as that gem.it annoyed the he** out of me seriously I was like are they f***** idiots or are they braindead or something? There's nothing good about that trash not to mention but even so most importantly that braindead of a mc who can't even comprehend some simple thing. and don't worry I am just venting my frustration here after seeing this review and made me remember about their reviews(it's not directed to anyone here😂) and Good day to you all who are reading this😄
