As always happens when a MC joins the mugiwaras ... they follow the plot, they only intervene in fights and hardly change anything. Even if the MC has cheats, Luffy will always be stronger. If you want a good One Piece FF, I recommend reading "A Gamer in South Blue" by LordVishnu. They recently came back so chapters are being updated again.
