first 4 chapters are fine but 5th chapter has things that I am not a fan of ... like putting religious promotions in the story . I came to read a novel not a religious doctrine , don't want to sink into that swamp . will come back to read more later. maybe its not as bad as I think it is....

LIKE5th chapter has some taoism heavy content don't forget the mc is a priest . so I can guess the story will have a religious side to it (which I don't like in stories and novels) a novel needs to have the intent of making an engaging story not describing/compering religions.
Domn:What do u mean exactly?
because mc is a priest religious content will probably continue all of the story , this is not a side arc that will be gone after 5-10 chapters, it will effect the story and mc decisions.

actually I think it'sinteresting because instead of saying that taoΓ―sm is good, he explains its doctrine, its philosophy. That gives the novel a depth that light novels usually don't have, and I find it refreshing to read something that's not merely on the "you killed my family, I will kill your family too" level. Furthermore, the MC can use his doctrine to explain his actions, so that they seem logical, unlike most novels.
