Really nice. No face slapping which is a huge plus, well in the first 10 chapters. MC wakes up in a parallel world that has undergone a spiritual change 100 years ago, causing beasts and dimensional rifts to pop up everywhere. The MCs cheat is that he can get the description and elements of anything he focuses on, and take elements from these things, if you want an example, read the book, So far so good, nothing crazy but the little fox part was cute. Would recommended.

Chinese slice-of-life novel. You'll like this novel if you like Japanese mangas/light novel titles beginning with 'Living a Carefree Life.' The type of novel in which the protagonist has zero ambition, or drive - just exists, frolicking around, going on joyous adventures with his friends. The novel is great. Unfortunately it has been on Hiatus for past 1 month. Writer took a leave for a day and has been missing since. I wish Webnovel would stop recommending novels that are on hiatus or abandoned. Even for trial reads.

What a surprise, another pet novel is picked instead of other good novels. Sick and tired of this genre at this point. Hope that this repetitiveness is fixed and that other good novels are given a chance instead.

Pretty average. I have finished reading Starting Contracts with Sprites. Both, this and that novel, are in the same niche with having pets for fighting. After reading 15 chapters only, I grew tired of this novel for having similar starting points with only the difference with the system abilities. It still didn't riled up my interest. I will give this an average score for at least making a solid novel but can't really get my interest to keep reading it. Comparing it with food, you can eat it but it doesn't have that umami flavor that will keep you from having second serving.

I mean, it's not a bad novel, certainly. Kind of fluffy and casual, but there's nothing wrong with that, and the pet is indeed quite cute. Just, kind of slow, not very long, and not especially interesting. Also, just in case you're like me and it's a turn off, the combat is SUPER pokemon. MC is literally just a cheerleeder shouting "Dodge that thing they just said and use your only combat skill!" and whatnot.

I just finished reading its raw..... really a very good pet novel... but on qidian website ...it is on hold for about /more than months.... so, did webnovel staff contact him about his status on this novel....if not then we are only going to get read novel till...chapter 277....so, please tell us did this novel gonna update in the future or not.....
