i tried reading but could not get past the first 10 chapters. Story itself is good, but bad English ruins experience. I could barely get into the story, every other paragraph, i had to re-read a sentence and correct it in my mind to make sense of it. Tenses are all over the places, sentence structures feel unnatural and painful to read.

Personally haven't noticed any issues with grammar. Though to be fair my brain automatically corrects a lot of stuff I read so it's hard to notice things wrong somtimes, though if it's prominent enough I certainly will.

Same lol. Idk why I'm so out of luck lately, any novel I pick up turns out to have a grammar issue as bad as this one. Would it kill these authors to at least use some Grammarly? In the first place, how could someone mix up the grammar tenses so badly when their vocabulary seems fine.? To make it worse, even the story wasn't good for me. I guess not many here agree but I can't really connect to stories with evil MC.
