Read 20+ chapters. Did not live up to LOTM or TOMA. Slow and boring. MC is the equivalent to a second playthrough of any RPG where you know the story so you just pick the stupid dialogue options for fun (Probably where Cuttlefish got his inspiration when playing Fallout). Most of the things the MC does or say makes no sense at all. Don’t base your assumptions on the authors previous success, this book is ‘meh’ at best.

LIKEYeah the comment section looks like an IGN review for an EA game lol. “10/10 Game Of The Year!” “-Must play!”
wryyyyy:Hm. I finally met someone with the same thought. I was wondering if I'm the only weird one with no interest from reading this boring novel whatsoever.
this novel is indeed dry, but still better than 90% of the novels here, cant find a single goddman good novel here on this app anymore.

MorningWood:oh for real, finally! now imma just stockpile chaps for 2 more months lol.
I thought the same thing but man, it definitely picks up, everything that happens in the beginning, the boring stuff has a reason. Honestly, at first, I only kept on reading because it was a book by one of my favorite authors but after some build up and explanations of what's going on, it gets really really good. I'd say it's his second best work, having read and finished all the others available.
Lol dude calm down 😂. I agree that all his stories start slow, but I was entertained nonetheless because all his other stories were interesting, and easy to follow along. This book is slow and BORING; post-apocalyptic settings are too played out. It’s hard to follow along and it’s extremely confusing in the first 40+ chapters. It probably gets better in the later 100+ chapters but I’m too bored to read that far and too poor pay that much lol.
Just_Entertainment:For Christ sake all his books starts up slow, then become marvelous. Even Lord of Mysteries was slow for the first 60+ chapters. Am surprised you read Lord of the Mysteries if ur already complaining at just the first 20+ chapters.
