I'm alittle confused on this I've had 2 people ask this but when I mean yandere I mean yandere you know the twisted love.

But does that mean that the yandere and the mc get together as a couple and stay as a couple?

I think when someone says yandere they simply summarize it as a twisted love, it's a tag that means that a "love interest" is twisted. Unlike the harem tag which confirms from the beginning that the MC will end up with several lovers. The yandere tag never implies whether the MC will end up entering a relationship with the yandere. I have read novels where there will be a yandere tag however the yandere's in the story will never end up in an actual relationship, sometimes they will die, or just be lonely forever, or some other thing else will happen. What I am trying to say though is the Yandere tag does not specify whether the yandere "love interest" will end up with the MC, it instead says that there will be a "love interest" that is a yandere. You could obviously get more in-depth when it comes to different types of yandere but I won't do that as this response is already far too long, anyways I hope that answers your question if you bother to read all of this.
