gender hipocrasy means- some novels make sure that fl is clean and keep on mention that because she is a female and ml is not. fl will fall for the ml just because he treats her well and don't mind him having past flings or even if he was a playboy. while ml will even feel possessive and doesn't like other men to touch her while he is clearly touched by others. some male leads behave like jerks and abuse female leads. i, as a woman feel fl should have self respect and she deserves a good person and she also can get possessive about male lead and it shouldn't be treated as petty. when ml possessiveness is treated like something else . but your novel seems to be different, the ml was in love before. so I am interested to read how you will justify him falling for FL forgetting his first love. thank you for the clarification.

To be honest I also don't like those novel where fl is always virgin , innocent,but ml is not, many novels ml is playboy ,or have past relationships,or he only needs female to satisfy his need in the past before meeting the fl ,I always think it is kinda unfair for the fl. I hope this novel don't disappointed me
