I really like this fanfic, the quality of writing and character development is very well laid out and most importantly a very good personality of mc. honestly I'm bored with MCs who are cold, villainous, very perverted, and moreover the type doesn't care about around or behave "I'm not a hero who helps everyone", hey dude what's wrong with helping others? yeah this is just my opinion haha lol. This fanfic is suitable for people who want to relax themselves from cold MCs or villain MCs let alone super pervert. Peace

I would be okay with him helping people who are 'good'(to him). We should all go by a golden rule. "Be like a mirror."

I don't think 'they' dislike people helping and saving others, but more like 'they' had enough of the fake 'heroes' that are more like SJW than actual heroes. Cause a 'hero' was, at least by my understanding, someone who's fighting for his country/group and most times, dying for it. But now it's more like someone with some delusional idea/ideal who's somehow got the right to judge others for their actions, but all his actions are good and just. *(and the weak hero always wins in the end by some miraculous love/friendship/...) So that's why we see this wide spread of stories (mostly fanfics and some og, but only at the start) with the mc the exact opposite of the new idea of a hero. And it's more of a chaotic mc than an evil one. and let's be honest, in a fictional world where there are 'gods' that live and fight among mortals, how can you really decide what is 'good' or 'evil' ? **: just ranting random bs, basically jumbled ideas munched in a mess.

Nope . You put it into words. I like Helpful MC, but not at the cost of their own family.
