Its a very convincing and detailed story about addiction - in more facets than one. Addiction to a drug, a behaviour, a person, a feeling. If you know, you know while reading this… It is also a big boom of love-conquers-all! The “power/magic” is more of a backdrop/worldsetting to tell the tale.. The characters are deeply layered and you get to peel those layers as the story goes. Bummer that volume.3 ends the book with a simple synopsis, but it does complete the book and provides closure for the reader. Amy - you are such a good storyteller! Never stop!
