only problem is that this shun long is too prideful for no reason at all, I somewhat accept he wants to become strong so he doesn't die again even though the motivation was crap and forcefull but where the **** does he get his stupid ass pride from?

Spoiler below: When little Black asks him about his aspirations, it’s clear that even without his memories, his heart and soul is still the same as it was before he first died, how could he not be prideful with the underlying personality of someone who was above everyone?

Being too prideful is bad even if you are the most powerful being ever. Pride can be very toxic, look at the human history. + mc is way too arrogant.

That's exactly what I was thinking; he's doing it subconsciously, since he still has the memories of a past life as a powerhouse somewhere in his mind.
