The MC knew his clan was filled with retards, yet avoided his clans politics, and decided to not be in the village for 4 months because the training environment was not as good, and his clan gets massacred since he wasn't there since he willingly decided not to pay attention to the signs that it was coming. Every time the MC can change the plot, a super powered enemy shows up just to stop him. Want to save Minato? Nope, super powered alien. Want to save your clan? Not, some random guy revived Danzo and without any explanation, made him 10x more powerful than Pein. Want to save the 3rd Hokage during the Chunin Exams? Too bad, lets have you fight the Otozuki right f*ing now. And to top it all off, he paired the MC with Mei Terumi and then killed their child just to inflict emotional damage on the MC and reader. So yeah, not that great.
