Naw, the MC and all the players are 16 or so. Plus the MC lived in a circus on the East Coast for a while. This is just a natural progression. The main point though is that even if the MC came out of his childhood a bit edgy, a lot of the other players came out worse. This is also how Enhancer personality traits act. Fun Fact of the Day: The reason Katanas are made so well is because the Japanese Smiths had NO CHOICE but to make them well. The only Iron Ore available in Japan was low quality. Their methods of repeated folding seems excessive to the rest of the world, but this was the minimum requirement for a good sword due to how bad the material they had to work with was. If a nation had access to better quality iron, they definitely would not waste so much effort and it would be easier for them to make 'normal' swords.
