A story that is closely like Vampire system but instead of being childish its now aimed towards edgy teens. Well it was an ok read, but I think the story just wasn't compelling enough for me. The world building was almost like VS, an alien or a superiur race threatens humanity, then mysterious object appeaared on earth, but instead of books we have orb that gave them powers. Also where the countries willingly splitted themselves apart was unrealistic. You see people are very nationalistic, read a chinese novel and you will see what I mean Lol. The characters are underdeveloped and they changed drastically with convenient plot devices. My first problem with the main character was his sudden development, I read the first chapters and at first he was pretty hollow and naive which I got turned off for a bit, but then the necklace plot device came and he became a complete psychopath, okay I think it was good. But then I found few problems, first the character did a complete 180, as though his emotions were suppressed, no reflection, no guilt in fact he was happy about it. There was even no foreshadowing of his psychopathic tendencies. He evolves into a new person. As someone being poor and bullied he came across as naive and easily fooled, he was easily convinced that a drink can costing 1000 usd, because he had the necklace on. The author might say negative emotion or was it energy, well Im tired of scrolling it up. But.. The negative emotions is kinda crap, because is being suspicious considered a negative emotion? Does thinking in general considered a negative emotion? Does having common sense considered a negative emotion? If the author admitted the necklace drained most of his IQ level to the trash can. I would have accepted it. The character wasnt fleshed out very well, it would have been better if he was a goody naive guy, then slowly turning into a calculating psychopath. The way it was written was lazy writing at best. Where he did a complete 180 in personality and became psychopath who tortured Flynn severely who was already defeated. I understand that the author needs to hasten the development but it would have been better if in the early chapter there were signs he was a psychopath or at least calculating. It was as though some new person just possessed him. He makes some stupid decisions but nothing major. The FL on this which is assumed is another card board cut out, shes a psychopath, narcissitic, and conceitied character, I dont really like any of them. The pet stuff was kind of ridiculous though, no matter how arrogant a person is people dont act that way, there was no subtlety on her character its was too upfront. And she was also turned into a servant. As someone who were that arrogant she just brushed it off because the MC is so attractive that she wanted to rape him, smh. I think the dormmates are okay though, they have realistic personalities displayed so far. The bullies were your cliche troupes seen several times on novels and anime, they just beat up the MC because they wanted to. All that goes into their head was to bully, they were very flat as characters and only exists for conflict. But that just my opinions and thoughts, peace.

Great review, it's hard to find honest reviews in this site with so many 5 star reviews that don't talk about the novel at all and just say it's great or something like that, i don't care if it's great or bad but i hope to find people talking about what makes this novel good or bad in their opinion, unfortunately it doesn't seem to happen very often. I'm still gonna read it but your review let me know about some of the flaws this novel has and i'll probably notice it while reading too, it's just a matter of whether these flaws are bad enough to make me drop it, we'll see.
I agree with your review but would like to add that if you read MVS it is basically plagiarism for the 1st 100 chapters with even some names exactly the same. Many authors on WN do so. What grinds my gears is that the author is adding in the chapter but after the end of the story an additional 200 to 400 words/symbols of personal musings and advertising of another novel that add to the cost to the reader(each 200 words is an additional coin). So in effect he is stealing from his readers.
Please stop spreading misinformation. I only added extra words in the FREE chapters since the author's thoughts section had limited words. I NEVER did this in a paid chapter.
