Review Detail of Dingoa in The Elementals

I clicked on this because I promised someone a review swap. I ended up binging the whole thing. This author does not sound their age. They're writing is descriptive while being clever and humorous, and there aren't really grammatical or punctuational errors. The characters are relatable, and there's a great mix of 'normal' teenage interactions (playful bantering, crushes developing, etc) and surprising, action-packed ones in this magical world (demon possession, monster fighting, power usage, you get it). And all the characters are fun to read about. The dialogue is realistic, too. The beginning is good, but if it doesn't quite grab you, it gets even better in the middle. There are quite a few parallels to Percy Jackson. If you like those stories, you'll love this one. Hope you keep going with this, Author. I'm curious about Melissa's character - we haven't learned too much about her yet.
