Disclaimer: review up to chapter 168. First for those impatient: Is it worth reading? Fuck yes. Now onto the review. This as far as I can understand from the text is a MTL of a chinese pokemon fanfic. The mc is a reincarnator from Earth who got reborn back in time after dying shortly after he reached e4 level. So, in essence it's his 3rd try at life. While this is explained in early chapters the TL is pretty hard to understand. Mc also has a cheat - the AI chip like one Leylin from Warlock of the Magus World has. The fic is a "realistic pokemon world" Type, and it really gets it with all the politics, brutality of the underworld and nepotism. The MC is a villain so if you hate that you probably won't like the fic. Now onto the pros: The mc is a Rocket. Not the Jessie James kind, more Hunter J kind. The MC is smart. He likes to plan ahead. The author managed to combine and adapt the vrmmorpg item rarity system and nutrition into a believable IRL equivalent of IV/EVs from the games in aptitudes and pokeblocks. Coherent and consistent worldbuilding. The explanation why Team Rocket mainly uses dark types, and their standard sets of mons just makes sense. MC's team isn't the standard cliché of 5 pseudo-legendaries and a Mega like in most fics. 168 chapters in we're almost 2/3rd into 1st arc. This seems like a good 3-5k chapter behemoth. Now onto the cons: It's MTL. Pokemon names, attacks and character names don't translate half of the time. For pokemon species there are edits like ghost=gastly, but for characters I'm still wondering who Nazi is. The MC is arrogant when he really has no right to. Deus ex AI chip The whole Rocket contribution points and **** reeks of cultivation novels. This is most likely a 3-5 k chapter behemoth Overall I'd rate it within top 5 "realistic pokemon world" Novels including ffn ones. I love it and recommend you to at least try reading it.

Supreme Archer: Taking The Game's Weakest Class To The Top

"You're worth a single arrow." The first immersive virtual MMORPG, The Legend Enigma Online, has conquered the game market! There's not even one person who hasn't heard or seen this game's beautiful and vast magical world overflowing with monsters. Everyone wanted to play this game and be a part of history! Conjuring magic, wielding enormous swords, and even flying across the skies are possible in this game! Guns, arrows? Those are boring compared to this! Jake, however, was compelled to think differently. When the archery became abandoned and forgotten, he took this class and swore to prove others wrong, all because he likes to go against the mainstream! With the bow in his hand, Jake finds passion, talent, and excitement in archery, but will that be enough against the challenges the world keeps for him? It's not only the players that find archery weaker than magic. After the dawn of mana, which happened over two hundred years ago, even NPCs prefer magic over bows. While the other classes have been developed so much by NPCs that players have many luxuries to pick from, the archery is now a mere shadow of its past. That's only the tip of the iceberg of the future Supreme Archer's difficulties! "No matter whatever it is and how long it takes, I'll take everything on and get my archery to the top! The archery where I'm the master and artisan of my bows and arrows, the tailor of my equipment, and pioneer of my own skills!" Hard work, talent, bitter defeats, and uproarious victories–none of it is foreign to Jake! https://discord.gg/ZQ4G84ZtRY - discord server for our community!

Card Apprentice Daily Log

Dalton Wyatt, a world-renowned scientist and inventor, is transmigrated into the body of a high school student, also named Dalton Wyatt, who had tragically committed suicide due to unfortunate circumstances and a complicated life. The enchanting world of cards he finds himself in is vastly different from Earth, yet eerily similar in certain aspects. Unlike the peaceful Earth, where humans fought only amongst themselves, this new world is plagued by dungeons and monsters. Here, humanity's survival hinges on battling these mythical and legendary creatures. Ordinary mortals lack the strength to stand against such formidable foes. Thankfully, a select few are blessed with the ability to harness their souls, manifest soul power, and become card apprentices—humanity’s last hope against extinction. Card apprentices are individuals who form contracts with grimoires, mystical artifacts that allow them to wield powerful and versatile cards to fend off monsters and conquer dungeons. A grimoire provides card apprentices with abilities such as card creation and card fusion. Most importantly, it enables them to unlock their full potential in card battles. While this world shares the concept of science with Earth, its focus is not on electronics or industrialization. Instead, cards replace the need for most technologies, fulfilling even the smallest of daily necessities. This world revolves entirely around the grimoire’s abilities, particularly card creation and card fusion. Transmigrated to a place where strength can be bought with money, Dr. Wyatt is forced to earn a living to ensure his survival. Fortunately, with his otherworldly knowledge and expertise, card creation comes naturally to him, setting him apart from other card apprentices. Dr. Wyatt crafts and sells perfect, powerful, and resourceful cards, steadily growing stronger in this monster-ridden world. --- "What did you say? Making good cards is hard? Bah! Card creation is a breeze." "My friend, let me enlighten you—there are no 'trash card ingredients,' only incompetent card creationists." [Commencing card creation using ingredients, i)Bloody Veins - G Rank, Mortal Grade ii)Nyon Rope - G Rank, Mortal Grade iii)Common Core - G Rank, Mortal Grade Card creation… complete! Card Name: Bloody Rope Card Type: Item Card Card Rank: E Rank, Common Grade Card Rating: 3 Stars Card Durability: 100/100 Card Effect: The Bloody Rope can bind and incapacitate its target. When in contact with a target’s wound, it triggers paralysis and blood drain effects. Additional Effect: Paralysis, Blood Drain] "This can’t be real! You used G-rank mortal-grade ingredients and yet crafted an E-rank common-grade card with full durability and a three-star rating? This isn’t real—I must still be dreaming! I couldn’t possibly have woken up today—this has to be a dream!"
