It's a pretty good story with okay writing quality. The author is a little too focused on making the MC look smart instead of acting smart, which makes him look a little stupid in my eyes. Also, there is a part where the MC causes an accident but there is no evidence or even a clue that's leading to him. But out of nowhere he gets questioned and everyone seems to know that it was him. Like I said it's a little over the top and pretty unrealistic.

If I was trying to make MC look smart, I would do it differently but alright. You can have your own opinion, not like I want to change your view on this.

When there is a murder case and you are someone who had a conflict with the victim, you are obviously suspect or not? But, you are just suspect with no clear evidence leading towards you. Idk in which country you live but in mine, it's like that. Plus no one died so they just closed it as an accident. And it's not really my intention to make him look smart. It's only you assuming so, I wouldn't say otherwise if there actually was [Smart MC] or whatever tag but there isn't.
