I've seen dense MCs, I've seen stupid naive MCs. I've seen obsessively idiotic MCs. But this MC takes the stage above all other BETA MCs. And he is actually the fkng alpha. Nice premise and good background story. I don't know why but the author turned this MC so dense he cannot even understand his beard was never liked by the females even if they say it in face. Wow, talk about living in denial so much. Tunnel vision is heavy in this guy.

Actually you're wrong. Beard or no beard, that is only an excuse. I see that you are only at the earlier chapters and didn't know that he is a wanted cultivator that can't tell anyone that he is back. That is only an excuse. The story is heavy on plot twists and romances. You should check my pin up review. I am not creating a super smart MC to face slap his enemies, because that is too unrealistic read and one dimensional. I can recommend you further reads on one side smart MC though. The story has a mystery and not everyone is telling the truth. It's not because the MC is stupid. Also didn't you read that the setting is supposed to be a beard culture and a quirky MC?
